CRAP CAKE ANYONE? To celebrate Dump Trumpet's second birthday on the 12th of August we are running a birthday-themed competition where you can win a coveted (ie, we don't like giving them out!) Dump Trumpet flash drive. To win all you have to do is join our growing band of members and then login between the 10th and 17th of August and post the best or worst birthday cake you can find on the net. Just link the URL when you submit it. There are no limits to the amount of posts you can put on so off you go! The best (or worst) three will win a flash drive for nothing more than being able to use Cut And Paste and a keyboard. Not bad, eh?The winners will be judged by me (m0le) and the results published on the front page around about the 20th of August.
Dump Trumpet has come along way since Christmas, our Webmaster has been tweaking the site here and there and adding new features in the Members area. But now we've been taken a whole new level.... WE'VE NOW BEEN INTEGRATED INTO 'FACEBOOK' !! Our Webmaster has been testing our new application on Facebook and we believe it is ready to go live to the public, bar one or two members features which are still being tweaked for the Facebook application platform. Members can upload their favourite links via the Facebook application just like they still can on our main site. Help us by adding the new application on your Facebook account and invite all your friends to join in the latest phenomenon.
Dump Trumpet will shortly be offline for maintenance some time today, we are upgrading to a new faster server and the process should not take more than an hour or two.
It is expected that there will be a few bugs in the system due to new software on the server, but these I am told will be fixed within minutes of DT going live again. (current time 4:20pm GMT)
